Ferrovanadium
DESCRIPTION: - an alloy of iron and vanadium, with high vanadium content (about 80%.).
OBTAINED: - depending on the quality of the alloy, by: electrothermics process, aluminothermics and silicothermy.
USE: - production of special alloy and anticorrosion steels.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION: according to SR ISO 5451/1996.
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION: V 75 ÷ 85%, Si = 2.0% max, Al = 1.5% max, C = 0.30% max, P = 0.06% max, S = 0.05% max, Cu = 0.10% max.
GRANULATION: 5 ÷ 50mm; 10 ÷ 50mm (90% min.)
PACKAGING: 250 and 500kg steel drums
