Voestalpine, from profit to loss Solicita detalii

The Austrian steel producer Voestalpine recorded losses of ¤ 48 million during the period April-June 2009, due to decreased demand. This is a dramatic situation, taking into consideration that, during the same period of the last year, the company reported a profit of approximate ¤ 240 million, according to a recent report issued by Voestalpine. Company's revenues decreased in the same mentioned period by approximately 36% down to ¤ 2 billion. Special Steel Division’s results also decreased by 44%.
