Production resumption at ALUM Tulcea Solicita detalii

Vimetco Group, owner of Alro Slatina plant, has recently announced that it has resumed the alumina production at ALUM Tulcea, after a technological refurbishment program worth about $50 million, which lasted two and a half years. ALUM provides raw material for Alro Slatina, which controls 99.37% shares of the plant in Tulcea and brought in about 430.6 million (approximately $ 170 million) through capital increase in order to achieve the investment. ALUM hired 470 people for restarting the production,so number of employees of the alumina producer reaching 600. Vimetco controls the entire chain of production, owning bauxite mines in Sierra Leone, which supply raw material for ALUM Tulcea.
