New investments in Galati Solicita detalii

ArcelorMittal Group’s management has recently approved an investment of ¤ 52 million at the Galati steel works - furnace 5. The management considered the notice as a "very encouraging and important notice", which "demonstrates the intention to maintain the flow on the plant complex and make it competitive", according to the company’s announcement. ArcelorMittal Galati’ Administration considers that capital repair and modernization of the furnace 5 in Galati will extend its service to 15 years, according to the Western Europe standards. Also, the investment will stimulate the fall in variable costs and of the differences recorded in this sector, compared to similar units in Western Europe.
