Romanian Steel Industry in 2009 Solicita detalii

In 2009, the economic and financial crisis brought the Romanian steel industry to the crude steel production level of 1963, at around 2.7 million tons, 46.4% down compared to 2008 production. EU (27) Raw steel production in 2009 decreased by 27.9% and the global decline was of 8.1%, given the fact that China's steel production increased by 13.5%, reaching about 568 million tons of the world's total 1.2 billion tons of crude steel.
