Romania's economy in 2009 Solicita detalii

Despite the positive signals on the evolution of Romanian economy in the next period, statistics show that we haven’t yet come out of recession. According to National Institute of Statistics, in the fourth quarter of 2009 GDP was, in real terms, lower by 1.5% compared with the previous quarter. Compared to the same quarter of 2008, GDP decreased by 6.6%. In 2009, the GDP level reached to a 7.2 percent lower level, compared to 2008.
