Republica plant assets - sold out again

After five failed attempts of the liquidator RVA Insolvency Specialists to value the assets, the lenders of Republica plant decided to reduce the minimum selling price of the real estate assets of the factory in Bucharest by 25%, from € 48.5 million to € 36.4 million.
The liquidator will hold a new auction for the sale of assets, consisting of a land with an area of 258,469 square meters and of 133 constructions - industrial buildings with a ground area of about 78,000 square meters, at a minimum price of € 36.4 million, VAT excluded, according to an announcement made by RVA Insolvency. At the five auctions held by the liquidator, the starting price was set at €48.5 million, which however did not show any potential investor.
